Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that is often associated with systemic manifestations, especially arthritis. Around 2 percent of U.S. adults are affected, and it affects both men and women. Psoriasis can develop at any age, but onset is most likely between 15 and 30 years of age. It is hard to predict how much the diseases affect each patient. Fortunately with individualized and carefully monitored therapy the symptoms and negative effects of the condition can be minimize and enhance the quality of life for the patient.
